The United Nations Association in Denmark is an independent organization and part of the large family of UN associations around the world, all working to promote peace, human rights and a more effective UN.
To put it simply: UN Associations are the civilian branch of the United Nations, where individuals and interest groups can join, make their voices heard and participate in the work to promote UN goals and influence the large intergovernmental body in this way: The United Nations: United Nations.
Refugees in danger was a grassroots organization that has worked for 25 years to promote basic rights for people forced to flee and to promote peace. In connection with Corona closures, the organization had to close all its relief activities and the organization’s work has completely ceased on September 1, 2025 due to lack of financial resources.
No human being has decided where they were born and by whom.
It is ordinary people who pay with life and health and loss of loved ones for war. Refugees in Danger was helping those people.
